Our Journey

What started as a humble mud-and-makuti structure has grown into a modern, climate-smart mushroom farm in Kilifi.

Faced with harsh climate conditions and limited resources, we chose innovation over limitation. Through resilience, experimentation, and a shared vision, we transformed challenges into opportunities, building a sustainable farming model powered by solar energy.

Since 2019, our journey has been defined by growth—not just in production, but in impact. Today, Tujay Mushrooms stands as a symbol of what youth-led innovation can achieve in Africa’s agricultural space.
