At Tujay Mushrooms, we believe that young people are the key to transforming agriculture in Africa. Our community programs focus on equipping youth with practical skills, knowledge, and resources to start their own mushroom farming enterprises.
Through workshops, mentorship, and starter kit programs, we’ve helped hundreds of young people discover the potential of mushroom farming as a viable livelihood option.

Impact Story: The Babu Story
Swalehe Mwabaha, affectionately known as Babu, has been part of this land since 2016, long before Tujay Mushrooms began. When the journey started in 2019, he stood alongside the team through early experiments, challenges, and growth.
Over the years, his role has reflected the real impact of the project: creating employment, building skills, and improving food security.
With the introduction of solar-powered farming through the PURE Demonstrator Project, Babu’s life has transformed. For the first time, his home now has reliable electricity, changing how his family lives, works, and studies.
His story is a reminder that true impact goes beyond farming. It’s about people, progress, and building a future where clean energy and climate-smart agriculture uplift entire communities.
